CICO EDISON NEXT 2025

From October 29th to November 2nd, 2025, Palermo will host the CICO – Italian Olympic Classes Championship EDISON NEXT,he most prestigious event in Italian Olympic sailing. For the first time in its history, the Sicilian capital will be the stage for this national event, welcoming over 1,000 athletes, 600 boats and hundreds of coaches, federal directors, and race officials.

Organised by the Consorzio Circoli Velici Riuniti Palermo (Palermo United Sailing Clubs Consortium), con il supporto della Federazione Italiana Vela (FIV)with the support of the Italian Sailing Federation (FIV), the CICO 2025 represents a sporting and logistical challenge of the highest level, as well as a unique opportunity for the promotion of the territory.The regattas will take place on 8 race courses located along the Palermo coast, from Mondello to Sferracavallo, passing through Isola delle Femmine and Roosevelt, offering a breathtaking spectacle of sea, technique, and competition.
